Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, now we know, two 650 twins will be expensive, which is in the process of launching the Royal Enfield. The United States market is the first and only market that has so far received pricing. And two things are clear. First of all, chrome tanks models at Continental, as well as interceptor 650, is the most expensive trim models. And second, the interceptor is less than 200 USD expensive, around 15,000 rupees. Brakes and tires are all the same and there are other changes that the interceptor has a standard center stand, which the Continental GT does not do. GT is designed for the top Yoke clip-on and, of course, there are clips-on on a small reverse mounted on the Forks under the top yoke. The seat unit is different - the stock seat uses a pan similar to the interceptor but provides a small step in the seat. The seat on our test bike was an optional single seat with a colorful matching cow. In the end, Continental GT uses a different way to move the footpath a bit more.
Everything, lack of a center stand and other bits make Continental GT 4 kg lighters. Royal Enfield quoted the weight of 198 kg as the weight of cancer, 202 versus the interceptor. Both of them are oddly enough, without fuel. Factor in the fuel tank and continental will still be slightly lighter, the café racer tank is for 12.5 liters versus 13.75 liters interceptor.

The design

650 lines are not different from continental 535 but I think this is a very good looking machine. While I do not think that 650 is too big or anything, the engine grows to a more fluid image than the larger perimeter, slightly larger body panel, aluminum rims and tire 535. In terms of design and consolidation compared to 535, Royal Enfield had more flexibility because it is a new design and it gives considerable attention to detail and quality.
Obviously, there are no fancy bits on the bike - it was built with a clear pricing motivation, but Royal Enfield offers a series of high quality, well-prepared accessories for that purpose.

Continental GT 650 ride

I confirmed that the position of the bar at the Continental GT650 was slightly longer than the 535 and it makes life a little easier. But this is still a lean forward ride situation and Saddle will have long been a task of preference and fitness.
But on this move, it allows you to feel just one sign of what is happening to you and it fits my expectations of Continental GT to be a bit sportier in nature than in the interceptor.
The engine is smooth, sleek and sophisticated as the interceptor and the gearbox is a slim-transfer six-speed companion that is good to use. The torque is strong on peaks at 2,500 rpm and 5,250 rpm (52 nm). The sweet place is 4,000 and 6,000 rpm and 6,500 rpm, the engine continues to pull, but you quickly learn that upsetting by up to 6,000 rpm produces a satisfactory instant ride without any hardness, and a delicious burble-rumble from the stock pipe.

I know that there are many surprises that we are saying the Royal Enfield 650 twin so smooth etc. But there is a clear engineering reason. Parallel twin format and 270-degree firing order take care of many sources of vibration by using reciprocity of moving parts to cancel each other. The counterbalance leaves whatever is left. According to current Royal Enfield engine standards, this is a revelation. According to current parallel twin standards, this is not really a surprise.
 Like the interceptor, the continental GT will happily cruise between 650 80 and 120 kmph. The latter is a smooth 5,000 rpm in the top (sixth) gear and there is a slight bounce in the sense of urgency or stress of 130 km per hour, but I totally cruise at 130 - the engine definitely allows it. The top speed in the media documentation has not clearly appeared, but we have managed 184 km per hour at Speedo at one point, so it is fast enough to ensure.

Corner and collision on continental GT 650

Royal Enfield is ready to make a motorcycle that will ride for new riders and be more interesting for more experienced riders. But the origin of the bike is its experience - it needs to feel attractive. From that perspective, the 24-degree rake and the 106 mm trail makes it an easy motorcycle to ride. This is not particularly fast, nor is it slow. So the corners feel natural at all kinds of motion. Pirelli Phantom sports comp tire feels harsh but you quickly learn that they are dirty and dependable.

The issue on which we all had noticed that once you are 120 km / h or more, it is not taken into account that Continental GT seems to be bent when you are a bit sloping So it goes into a gentle rocket. It never gets worse and goes after some chakras. I think it is more sensitive than the continental interceptor, but other journalists have the opposite opinion. That little curve is there but only at high speed and I do not think it is a deal breaker - but this is one of those things when I keep a bike in India.
Ride quality is interesting. GT feels a bit stiff compared to the interceptor through the suspension is exactly the same. But like an interceptor, it absorbs the hits I do not expect, and then passes on those other obstacles which I think it should have been handled. On the streets of California, we had some stupid classes within the patch, tar snake and underwear and motorcycle credit never felt that I had to retreat for the road conditions.

Brakes are good and strong but it is decided to cut - someone should easily get along with them. Dual channel ABS is standard on both motorcycles and you can not turn it off.

Decision, Availability, and Pricing

As you can see, Royal Enfield has created two motorcycles that stand entirely with every set of expectations that the average Indian motorcyclist has products for their stable products. These are well-made, high-quality, sophisticated motorcycles that have very few niggles. And the promise is that there will also be a great price in motorcycles. In America, a simple five percent (20,000 rupees) more expensive than the basic interceptor classic 500 is more expensive! Siddharth Lal clearly states that without cutting corners, the price was one of both engineering goals. They did not want it to be cheaper. But they wanted a basic, simple motorcycle that they could give the prices well, and the ones who kept the rider busy.

Continental GT, I have a feeling, as well as Interceptor 650 in India, will not be too much, mostly because there is no handball position and single seat format is not everyone's cup tea. But in many ways, Royal Enfield has never made a motorcycle close to this good or has threatened such a surprising pricing.
Royal Enfield likes to say, "This is playtime." Too much And I think the games are just starting and it will be very fun to watch this match!
